A solid teak box ideal for storing a pack of playing cards. The lift-off lid features a central panel of oak burr. The interior of the loid and base is lined with lacewood.

CARE: Avoid extremes of heat; avoid placing the box in a damp place; do not store anything damp in the box. Any of these actions may damage the box beyond repair. Polish occasionally with a soft cloth. If necessary apply a little good quality teak oil.
Wood is a natural product; the material used to construct the box has been selected to give the best stability consistent with its decorative aspect. Highly decorative boxes are more likely to exhibit some movement at joints or between veneers. In a centrally heated environment the box may show signs of cyclical movement following the heating / non-heating seasons.
The lift off lid should be fitted such that the two small circular depressions (one on the lid one on the base) are aligned.
