One of a handed pair of sibling boxes. Built on a solid maple carcass with art deco styling featuring cherry and rosewood in a bird's eye maple field. Trimmed in padauk. Plated quadrant hinges, lock and inscribed brass plaque. Velvet lined.

FINISH: Melamine lacquer

CARE: Avoid extremes of heat; avoid exposing the box to prolonged dampness. Can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Polish occasionally with a good quality beeswax polish.

Avoid forcing the lid back too far, this may damage the hinges.
